Fleur's Place in the Sun

Freshness and simplicity is the key to the success of Fleur’s Place at Moeraki, which featured in the first episode of the NZ House & Garden television series. The popular seafood restaurant is run by Restaurateur Fleur Sullivan and was recognized by Cuisine magazine as one of the 100 best things about New Zealand.

The restaurant owns a fresh fish quota and the specialty is, of course, fish served straight from the fishing boats. Enjoying views of the sea on three sides of its superb waterfront location (formerly an early whaling station site), Fleur’s Place has become a destination visit for New Zealanders and international tourists alike – not only for its amazing cuisine, but the very warm welcome.

"One of the things we love is discovering people who are the heartbeat of our country – like Fleur Sullivan. There’s more about Fleur and many more inspirational Kiwis in the latest issue of New Zealand House & Garden – we hope it inspires you and we welcome your feedback."
