| | Swapping home grown produce |
| Ive just posed up some produce to swap with others (tomatoes) and Im tryign to encourage other people to do the same. I posted on http://www.mygarden.co.nz and its pretty easy to do - it also connects to my Face Book acount so my friends and family can see the produce too. Im in the Canterbury area so would be good to see others from Cantebury doing the same but you can list from anywhere in NZ. |

| My mother shares her subscription with me and I have just been reading the December issue. Are you able to give me the details on the curtain fabric featured in the photo on p80 in the article Everlasting Love? |

| | Herbicide |
| Do you know if you can still obtain the herbicide named Caseron in New Zealand? It was a fantastic product that my mother swore by but we cannot find it anywhere now. If it was withdrawn from the market do you know why because it is still widely used in the States. Thank you. |

| | Classic Kiwi Collection |
| Hi from Australia! I hope someone can help me. On page 35 of the Feb 07 issue an apron from the House of Baddeck is featured. My daughter is a kiwi about to start her own food business in Ireland and I just have to be able to purchase this apron for her - it is the perfect gift. I havent been able to find contact details and cant use the 0800 number from Australia. Can anyone provide a normal number or postal address or do you know if they have a supplier in Australia? Thanks for any advice. And the magazine was a great read as always. |

| | Colour |
| As Mary Gilliatt our interior design expert is not based in New Zealand she is not familiar with Resene paint colours so I spoke to a colour consultant at Resene and have noted her advice below. I suggest you purchase test pots in both colours paint a couple of A3 sheets of paper with two coats of each colour and hang up in the room you intend to paint and live with it on the walls for a couple of days. You will then see how the colour looks in both day and night lights. Dont forget all colours deepen when they are on all four walls so bear that in mind when making your final decision. Advice from Resene colour consultant: There are two colours in the Yellow palette Resene would recommend the first being Pale Prim 6 BY 30 from our Multi-Finish Range which is a pure lemon with no “gold tones” it has the right intensity for these areas the other is Moonbeam G91-080-091 which has more depth and a hint of orange these yellows are not as crisp as the lemons and tend to be easier to live with however both would be suitable and it is your personal preference which should make the difference just remember that yellow intensifies on mass so it is best to pick a shade a bit lighter than you may have imagined. Meryl Southey-Brown Colour Manager Resene Paints. Good luck and dont forget its not the end of the world if you get it wrong it just means the painter has to stay an extra day or two for remedial work. |

| | Colour |
| Thankyou for your excellent magazine.Quite often your magazine has rooms that look cosy in yellow hues. Please can you suggest a wall colour for my townhouse in the open plan living/dining/kitchen. It is very roomy gets only morning and early afternoon sun. I would like you to suggest a pale lemon that would give the impression of a sunny room. (Not into gold tones!) At the moment it is painted pale pink. I would prefer a Resene paint as that is what me painter prefers. |
