- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup diced dried apricots
- ½ cup pumpkin seeds
- ½ cup (70g pack) pistachios, coarsely chopped
- ½ cup sugar½ teaspoon mixed spice
- 125g butter
- ¼ cup golden syrup
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- ½ cup milk chocolate buttons, melted

Preheat oven to 180°C. Combine the first 8 ingredients in a large bowl. Melt butter and golden syrup together. Dissolve soda in hot water and stir into butter mixture. Pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Roll mixture into walnut-sized balls and place on lined trays. Press down lightly with a fork and bake 10 minutes or until golden. Cool on tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. When completely cooled, drizzle melted chocolate over biscuits.
