Dear Sally,
Pleasure talking to you about my search for a sheep like the one in the photo that I am attaching to this email. As I stated to you Burberry's and other fashion companies use them as props in their stores. The sheep are actually copies of the scultures from the French artists from the 1970's Claude and Francoise Xavier Lalanne. The body is made out of wood and covered in real sheepskin. The only expose areas are the nose, ears and legs in natural wood or black paint.
I was told that they are made in NZ but I am at a lost as to who might manufacture or sell them. Any leads would be greatly appreciate it.
Best regards and thank you for your kind assistance.

We had a copy of your e-mail newsletter forwarded to us by a friend today, as they thought our sheep fit the bill! Funnily enough we had an e-mail from Xavier last week regarding our sheep. We have been making our sheep for nigh on eighteen years. Initially they were used by Wools of New Zealand to advertise New Zealand wool around the world and they were made with a much shorter wool product. Our current product is covered in real fleece and some are even rocking sheep!
These are supplied to various clients around the world.
Hope this solves the mystery and please don't hesitate to call if you have any other questions.
Regards, Ian
