Step inside the pages of NZ House & Garden for a wonderful cause, as homes in Auckland, Kapiti Coast, Canterbury and Queenstown Lakes open their doors for the NZ House & Garden Tours in association with Resene; in support of the Cancer Society of New Zealand and Look Good Feel Better charities.
In previous years we have raised more than $200,000 from ticket sales, with all proceeds going back to the charities to help reduce the incidence and impact of cancer, as well as promote the confidence and well being of women currently undergoing treatment.

In 2012 each house tour will have its own special flavour:
The Canterbury tour on March 2 has a rural theme. We start by visiting sharp, modern homes in the Clearwater Resort then head out toward Ohoka, Darfield and Hororata, taking in a variety of different homes: from a beautifully restored villa to an art-filled new build. This tour involves driving quite long distances.
For the Auckland tour on March 9, we've got a fabulous line-up of city homes around Mt Eden, Parnell and the eastern suburbs - an opulent terrace house, a sophisticated black and white apartment and premium new homes belonging to young families.
Our Kapiti Coast tour, on March 16 extends from Raumati to Manakau along this lovely coast. Most notable are a number of clever architectural houses including the iconic, white domed Eisenhofer residence, open to the public for the first time. The Queenstown Lakes tour is our last one, on Saturday March 24. Out of towners will want to plan ahead and make a weekend of it.
