One of the best things about this floral ball is that it can be made with many different types of flowers. If you’re looking for something retro, try carnations. Fresh? Use daisies. It looks extremely elegant made of roses and it’s perfect with chrysanthemums. Here baby’s breath, or gypsophila, gives an ethereal edge.
To make it, cover a ball of oasis in short-stemmed flowers, pushing the stalks in firmly as you go. It makes a gorgeous decoration for a special-occasion table setting but would look equally good sitting on a hall or coffee table. You could even hang it.
The only thing you can’t do, in fact, is make it bounce.
